UMMU Server is a Server App which runs on the host computer to enable any of the StrongSoft Remote Apps to remotely control mixing consoles and MIDI-enabled Graphic EQs via WiFi. UMMU supersedes DSMidiWifi for use with these Apps, as it is cross- platform, and supports Mac OSX Lion, and Windows 7. Make sure you have the latest version here! (Currently Build 1020 for both Mac and PC).

M-400FM Remote is an iPhone App to remotely control the
faders and mutes of the Roland M-400 and M-380 series of mixing consoles via WiFi. Imagine the advantages of being able to wander around an auditorium, tweaking mixes and settings from your iPhone!

Note that the M-400 responds to changes made on the iPhone. If changes are made on the M-400, the faders on the iPhone move accordingly (known as 'handshaking')

iDigiCart is an iPhone App which mimics the functionality of Digital Cartridge Players often used by DJs and Sound Engineers to play jingles, stings and samples both 'on-air' and in 'live concert' situations.

Each button (100 buttons) in iDigiCart can quickly be assigned a sound file, and the appearance of the button can be changed as desired in 'Edit Style' mode. The button shows the title of the file, the artist (where appropriate), and the duration of the file.

When the button is tapped again, this plays the soundfile, (the button turns red) and the progress bar, and 'remaining time' label count down to the end of the soundfile. If the user has scrolled away from the file while it is playing, when the file finishes, the 'just played' button scrolls back into view, and the button reverts to its original colour state.

At any time during playback, the 'enable cancel' button can be pressed, which enables the cancel button embedded in the playback button.

iCue is an audio file playing App for professional sound engineers. Ideal for 'play in' music and 'stings' for presentation events, iCue allows playback of sound files with the ability to apply any of the preset fades at any time. Playback can be set to 'autoplay', and 'repeat'. A 'must have' for any pro sound engineer!

MIDIGrid is a programmeable button matrix that allows the user to send MIDI Note on messages, Controller Code messages, Program Change messages, or NRPN messages via WIFi to the host computer, which must have the free DSMidiWifi app installed upon it. Virtually everything in MIDIGrid is user programmeable - pad colour, text size and shade, number of pads, pad function, all MIDI parameters. The possibilities of this app are virtually unlimited!

3D Surround Controller is a MIDI-over-Wifi based surround sound controller compatible with hardware that can receive MIDI control change messages, such as xSpat BoX2 from A&G Soluzioni Digitali, and (x & y only) the Yamaha 01v 96. To use the controller, you must have the DSMidiWifi server (a free download) installed on the host computer. 8 sound sources can be moved in a true (x, y, z) 3D space by using a combination of the iPhone's touch screen, and the accelerometers. Smooth transitions can be triggered as well. The MIDI parameters (control change value, and MIDI channel) can be edited in 'Settings', so this app should be useful to anyone who has suitable hardware that responds to MIDI control change messages.

MagnetsMix allows you to do your own mixes of the UK's Number One a cappella group 'The Magnets', singing their current single 'Poker Face'. Each singer has a fader, moving that fader adjusts the mix accordingly, and brings up a picture of that singer. Pressing the 'Reset Mix' button restores the mix to the release version.

This App is a great insight into the way vocal music is built up, the vocal percussion, bass and harmonies. Have hours of fun doing your own mixes...

Kitchen Timer Pro is a 'must-have' timer for your kitchen. It has four independant programmeable timers, which can be named according to usage. Cooking times for roast meats can be calculated by entering their uncooked weights in metric (kg/g) or imperial (lb/oz) units. Simply name the timer 'Roast Beef', or 'Roast Chicken' etc, and the picker changes to 'weights' rather than 'times'.
Cooking times for pasta and rice are also shown as a recommendation automatically (enter 'Pasta, Basmati Rice, etc).

MIDI Keys is a MIDI Keyboard for iPhone. To use MIDI Keys, you must have DSMidiWifi server installed on the computer that you are using to receive MIDI. MIDI Keys sends the MIDI information via WiFi to the DSMidiWifi server on the host computer.

DSMidiWifi server will appear as a MIDI source in Music Applications such as GarageBand, Logic Pro etc.

You can select MIDI channel, and Octave from the elegant user interface, and choose whether or not to display note names on the keys.

GEQ Remote is a fader-based MIDI controller for controlling Graphic EQs that respond to MIDI control change messages (such as the Behringer Ultracurve Pro DEQ2496). To use the remote, you must have DSMidiWifi installed on the host computer. The control changes are sent via WiFi to the host computer, and from there to the Graphic EQ.
EQ presets can be easily stored and recalled.

A must have for the Pro Audio Engineer!

TimePeace is an iPhone Application to help your kids learn to tell the time in an enjoyable fashion. In addition to displaying 'Time of Day' in both analogue and digital formats, you can enter 'Tell The Time' mode. On pressing the 'New' button, the student is presented with a new time-telling example. After the student has attempted to tell the time, pressing the 'Speak' button results in the correct time being spoken. Pressing the 'new' button produces a new time-telling example.

Time telling formats are:

Analogue: Arabic and Roman Numerals
Digital: 12 and 24 hour formats
